From the San Francisco Bay Area, Counterpoint is generally a punk-rock band that incorporates as many different styles into their music as they can while still
keeping the same level of intensity. Starting back in 1994, Counterpoint mostly played clubs such as the Berkeley Square, The On Broadway (SF), and other smaller punk-rock venues around the Bay Area. Two self produced CDs later, the band has taken two West Coast tours to Seattle and back
and another to Arizona to play for the National Jet Ski and GoPed races after party festival in the desert. Counterpoint has had the privilege to open for a few of their favorite influences such as 311, Sublime, and has also had a few of their songs put on a popular video game (Jeremy
McGrath's Superbike 2000). When not playing out to increase their fan base of around 150 bay area fans, they have been working week nights in their recording studio and have just released their 3rd self produced CD "Black Socks and Docs"
